Who: Niles (age 17-19?) and some random people of his past.
What: Something apparently triggered a random Niles flashback, but I couldn't tell you what. (AKA part of the "random stuff I found" series. Written sometime around 2005)
Where: Flashback takes place in Wexler, the projects where Niles lived and died (the first time).
Rating: R for language and drug use.

Even if Niles never really thought about it anymore, there was life before rehab. There was a time before jumping into bed with models, only smoking weed (and Newports), before there was a slew of backstabbing friends, before his father fell in love, before he fell in love (not once, but twice), before he fell out of love, before his little Princess, before death and the supernatural. Even if these things were the only ones that Niles ever wanted to concern himself with, the past is still a bitch, and still threatens to come up and bite him in the ass. One day, probably a day soon, he would sit down a loved one, and explain that he was, in short, a dick. And hopefully he would get the chance to explain that before that bitch of a past came up to do the explaining for him. It was bad enough he was arrested and put away for that longest month because of it.

There was an apartment building on the corner of East and Main street, only a few blocks away from the Wexler complex, where grafitti of nicknames and curse words littered the backside of dingy brick walls. Inside the front glass door, complete with a list of the names of the residence and a button intercom left next to each one, the grafitti was no longer colorful spray paints, but instead a black sharpie taken to the walls. A stairwell in the back led to two seperate places, the first and obvious one being up the stairs and to the next ten floors of apartments, the other leading down into the basement and boiler room where the weekend poker games were held. Poker was never Niles' strong suit. He fucking hated poker. But his accomplise, Silas Richards, loved himself some gambling, and always dragged Niles to the games.

Even if he didn't show it, Niles was actually fond of Silas. The guy was fun to get wasted with, aside from whenever he got heavy on the junk. Then he got edgy, and seemed to always threaten blowing their cover in public. And it was always that much easier to get into a fight with him after he had just shot up. Niles really did hate Silas, too. Well, off the junk Silas, S-Richards, S-hards, Shards. Shards and Meth, dealers extraordinaire, right? Too bad Niles was working for just above minimum wage at Berry's Groceries down the street and Silas was working for the same amount at Big Joe's Bar and Grill. But that was okay for both of them. Niles took the neccesities of milk and cereal on five finger discount, and Silas would always bring home a nice case of Corona for them to kill off in a matter of two hours. But there was still the other neccessities... they needed viccadens and percacets at five dollars a pop, they needed 25 for a cut of weed, 30-45 if it was any good, they needed another 40 for an eight ball of coke, and any junk that Silas could get his hands on, he just needed. That was why the two guys turned to Kerri, the 19 year old with the apartment on the sixth floor. She loved herself some junk, but not to the extent that Silas did. Her favorites were any kind of pill and Niles' candy, cocaine. Plus, she was a topless waitress downtown at The Copa, which meant she made good money.

And money was just what Niles needed.

There was a familiar knock on Kerri's door, and her voice held a disoriented smile.

"It's open, babes."

Niles stepped in the doorway with Silas following right behind him. A hand passed back shakily through dark blue hair and both hands moved out to anchor themselves on either side of the doorframe, keeping Silas out and keeping Kerri in. He sniffed a bit, those lips still rimmed by that goatee. A pair of tattered, dark blue jeans and a white beater were in place, as well as boots that didn't hold laces. His clothes didn't even look cleaned. Earlier that year, Niles had spent a week in the pig house, as he called it, while his brother was just missing from society. He didn't give a shit what he looked like, right now.

"I need a hundred and twenty dollars."

"Why the fuck should I give you any more money? You didn't even come home last night, babes. I was really horny and---"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. Just give me the fuckin' money or we're gonna be shit outta luck today."

"We? Does this mean me and you, or you and him?"

"It means all of us, Kerri. Stop with the fucking bullshit."

"Just tell me what you're getting, babes..."

"Some good shit that we need to come back here to cut before we sell it, alright? Jesus fuckin' Christ, man, are you that stupid? You couldn't have figured that out all by yourself? Fuckin'..."

"Hey, fuck you, you need to calm down."

He took a deep breath, nostrils flaring. "I am calm, Kerri, I just need the money, and I need you to hurry up."

She sighed, rolling her eyes, picking herself up from the couch to cross the room to her purse, where her wallet was produced. Niles pushed off of the doorway and moved up behind her, arms curling about her waist, lips found her neck, hand found her wallet. She smiled and pressed back into him, head leaning against his shoulder, eyes shut. His eyes were open and watching her face, wallet was opened, and extra fifty dollars slid out of it and into his pocket, the whole act he covered up by slapping her in the ass.

"Be back soon."

"You better hurry, babes. You know I can't live without ya. I love you."

"Uh huh." As she went to kiss his lips, he held his hand out for the money, and wouldn't kiss her until it was placed in his palm. After a very brief kiss, he headed to the door, and gestured for Silas to hurry out and down the hall. He shut the door after him, rolling his eyes, putting the money in his back pocket. "Holy shit, that bitch is fucking insane...'I love you', 'babes, this, babes that'. What the fuck."

"Hey, you're the one fucking her."

"Yeah, yeah, don't remind me. Stupid bitch probably has twenty different diseases. That's why I grabbed me some condom money. I ain't catching whatever she has."

"...So that money isn't for me?"

"Are you fuckin' stupid? Condoms cost, what, three dollars a box? I don't plan on fuckin' her any more than that." He sighed, eyes rolled, one hand moved to his pointed nose, rubbing it a bit. "Did you call Paulie?"

"Yeah. He's gonna be down Janice's. He's unloading the real good stuff there. Reeeeal good."

"You fuckin' junkie.. what did I tell you about that?"

"Same thing I told you about stopping your fuckin' crack walk. I can't keep up with you. You be flyin' down the street."

Niles smirked. "Deal with it."

Back at Kerri's apartment, seated on the floor infront of the glass table, Niles unloaded their new buy, just as promised, that baggie lined with the white powder. Silas was already laying out on the couch, stretched out and half conscious from shooting up with Paulie and Janice. Kerri was getting the ingridiants ready in the kitchen to cut the batch, but not before they each got their share, of course. Using a razor blade, a pile was delicately seperated into three seperate lines, each one lengthened out as far as he could push it. Of course, the fattest and longest of the three was for him. Without warning the other two that he was going to proceed with the festivites, he leaned down towards the glass table, held the left side of his nose with his left hand, and inhaled his line with ease. Afterwards, his head flew up, he shuddered a bit, and pale blue eyes reopened as red as they would be years later, as he fiended for something different entirely.

Specifically, so much pleasure, playing into the poker of on-line on your laptop computer or working table into the weakening atmosphere of your house, it is also good to learn to understand a little, as they make their work. Each of online games company builds its software to the within the framework planned structure of a system.

The software architecture of poker of program or computing system appears the structure or structure, system, which includes program components, outwardly visible properties of these components, and also interrelations between them.

For laymen like us, I thought it might be difficult to understand that poker is architecture really entails, so when I joined the cyber, I spent many days with our programmers and got a lot of material from them. I found that once I understand the basics, it was quite interesting, as our programmers planning, development and monitoring system architecture poker games, which our company builds.

Poker architecture developed by our programmers with the following objectives:

A. Error-free and high speed game play, providing a great gaming experience with the user.

B. Dynamic scaling, where increasing the capacity of the system without violating the already running system components.

C. Dynamic configuration, in which the behavior of the system must be able to reconfigure dynamically.

D. The presence of games and services at all times with layoffs and backups for each subsystem.

E. Simultaneously, a few games where the user should be able to play several games simultaneously.

F. Various types of games like X, X, X, X, X, X, single and multi table tournaments, no-limit, pot limit, etc.

Exporting the game, in the case of unintentional disconnection, the client must be able to connect to the game (s) within 30 seconds. If he connects, he must be able to continue from the point where he went.

h. Transparent and seamless integration of payment system to save the user from the knowledge account payment system.

The system of high-level poker architecture includes the following major subsystems:

In my relationship with our customers of the company, I am often asked what the architecture or platform of our products are built and supported, and after the regular meetings with our programmers, today I can not say with confidence that I can answer a lot of requests, without batting an eyelid . Since I can not make this long winded post and bore their readers with a number of technical, I would like to conclude that the right architecture of poker is the basic building block of the entire Suite of software, which takes years to build.

Those who are interested to spread the horizons for their understanding of poker, please pay attention to poker lessons.

Surely poker lessons will not answer all questions, and will not be the last stepping stone to reaching a level of poker guru. But don’t forget that every poker guru of today was starting from poker lessons. Will you be the exception?
